challenge 3

Well it's been a long time since i have blogged on here, we have been super busy. We have just over 1/2 way of our deck all framed out, and the deck goes all the way around the house and is about 10 feet off the ground at the back because of the walk out basement. Also I went to Edmonton last Monday and picked up my nephew off the plane, and he is staying with us for a month, so that is exciting for us to have time with him. But I will not bore you any longer and put my challenge 3 on the web for you. This challenge was hard for me because we were to use stamps and I'm not really into to much stamping. But here it goes:

Materials used on project:
chipboard shapes - 7 Gypsies, Bazzill
pattern paper - WeR Memory Keepers, Cosmo Cricket
stamps - CTMH and Cat's Life
Ink - CTMH
pens - At you Spica, Zig
stickers - Sandylion, Beary Patch
journaling card - WeR Memory Keepers
photo turns - Tim Holz
embossing powder - CTMH

where does all the time go?

Happy Sunday, thought I would type a quick post to you all to let you know I still exists. We have been so busy with building our decks on Friday we poured 43 out of 44 piles we were short on concrete so now instead of having another truck come we will just mix it ourselves and get it poured. We also have a friend who is losing his wife right now to cancer and we are looking after his place for him, God bless his heart if you have time please say a small prayer for him. Today I have to clean the house and hopefully I can have some time to do some scraping this afternoon. Josh my son had sent me some new pictures of my beautiful granddaughter on her bike going to the park, they live in Calgary so far away from me. Oh well that is OK I know they miss me too(I think anyhow, lol). Well I will let you run and hopefully I will get something posted for you today or tomorrow. Bye :)

New week

Here a quick layout I did, my beautiful daughter is not going to like this layout to much but she will get over it. Not to sure on how much I am going to get to scrapbook or blog this week, because Grant is coming home on Wednesday and he is taking one of his weeks of holidays off, so that means he will be home for 3 weeks straight and we are going to be starting to build the decks. I can not wait until we are finished this house I am getting tired of always having to do some sort of finishing or something, I will never build a new home again!!

Material used:
cardstock - Bazzill
patterned paper - Basic Grey
fabric words - 7 gypsies
rub-ons - DCWV

Hello everyone how are you all doing? I am fine just about frozen with this silly weather we are having, I think I seen summer as it passed by in two days, I am hoping for more warm days. We don't mind the rain but the snow can go away now this is getting to be rediulous. Anyhow, I just bought a cuttlebug and a couple of the embossing folders off of e-bay, so I should be able to do some funky things for scrapbooking hopefully. I do have a coulpe of new pages done but I still have to take pictures of them to put them on here and I am patiently waiting for a package from Lisa's Scrap Shack, it should be here any day now. So I will have more for you then. Also I am working on a project right now it probably take a couple of weeks for me to finish it's a bigger one. Anyways I should run and get ready for bed have to work tommorow see ya soon.

Early Happy Mother's Day to all of you who are mothers. Well Jessica and I went to a local greenhouse today and bought some flowers for my pots. She surprised me with a beautiful pot of flowers from her and the other 3 children I have. I love flowers, I guess it goes along with the love of colors, because I wanted to buy all of the hanging baskets it was hard to pick with one I loved the most. And how here are a couple of new pages of my cute little granddaughter, my supplies came from Lisa's Scrap Shack and have you noticed that she has her cardstock on 20% off!! That a good deal check it out at http://www.lisasscrapshack.com see ya all.
