The Big Day

Well today is the BIG Day! We board the big bird and off we go to South Korea! It came so fast with all the things we were doing in the last couple of months. We will be very busy when we land over there as well because starting Friday at 10:00 am there time we will be picked up at the hotel and start looking at places to live. As well as I am sure Grant will need to check in at work, and we still have to go to the imageation office for one more Visa as well, but cannot do that until we are there. So with everything happening I might not blog to much only a couple of lines each day! So for today we start our flight at Edmonton leaving at 11:45 am and off to Vancouver, then Vancouver to Tokyo, then Tokyo to Busan and then a car ride from Busan to Goejie, total of 21 hours(roughly) as long as no delays and such. Talk to you all later☺️

Holiday in St Lucia

So Grant and myself have been having a great time in St Lucia. The weather has been around plus 28 to 30. I am loving the heat other than I sun burnt the first day here in about a hour. The salt water has been helping reveale it, thank goodness. We went into the capital city today to the market and the duty free stores, I bought a few items but not to much. We are here until the 6th of Feburary then back home for 4days before we take off to South Korea. As we are sitting out on our patio the humming birds are flitting around it is so cool! Well I am signing off for today will blog some more later

New House in Parkland County

So we have all of our stuff at our new place in Parkland County. Well most of it we still have to go back up to Lac La Biche and pick up our tractor and a few shop things other than that all moved. And yes I still am sad about selling my house in the woods, not to sure if I will ever get over it. Our new house will not seem like home for awhile to Grant and I though, but it will be as we do things to change it to us,for now it's a holding place. I do like it of course but keep looking back at the other one and comparing, I guess that is not a good idea because it will never be the same!😢 So soon we will be on a plane to St. Lucia, cannot wait for HEAT!!😃😃 It will be nice just to kick back and put up my feet, as they hurt very badly to being on them for hours very day getting things packed and now unpacked. I just want to be a beach bum and read a good book, soaking up the sun. and believe me Grant needs the same treatment. when we get home from there we have enough time to wash clothes, pack again and hug our kids, then off to South Korea as our adventure will being. It has been lots of stress and work to have this happen but we are both looking forward to the adventure and I am sure it will all be good.
